MEET ALIDA

Alida (Lee) Fisher is the mother of four children, ranging in ages from ten to seventeen. Lee and her husband Scott have been San Francisco residents since 2000. In the twelve years her children have attended public school, Lee has been an active parent and volunteer at seven San Francisco Unified School District schools. She is the current Chair of the Community Advisory Committee for Special Education and a member of the African American Parent Advisory Committee. Lee is a member of SFUSD's LCAP Task Force and Stakeholder Engagement Team. She is also a Parent Mentor with Support for Families of Children with Disabilities and and active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oakland.
Lee’s hobbies include reading, knitting, running, playing volleyball, and embarrassing her children in public as much as possible.
